Police Report Fraud, Vehicle Vandalism, Theft Incidents Nearby
Incidents were reported between Oct. 26 and Nov. 2.
Police nearby in Shrewsbury reported the following incidents recently:
• An incident of identity fraud was reported in the area Park Avenue on Nov. 2. The victim told police that an unknown person attempted to secure a loan by fraudulent means, using another person's name falsely. Patrolman Jennings is investigating.
• Personnel at World Jeep, Shrewsbury Avenue, reported the theft of license plates on Nov. 1. Patrolman Tracy Polk investigating.
• There was a report of criminal mischief — $900 worth of vandalism to a vehicle — in the area of 100 White Road on Nov.1. Patrolman Tracy Polk is investigating.
• An incident of criminal mischief — a broken window valued at $500 — was reported at Builders Architectural Millwork, Newman Springs Road. Patrolman Ryan Cullinane is investigating.
• An incident of criminal mischief — $200 worth of vandalism to a vehicle — in the area of Trafford Street was reported on Oct. 30. Patrolman Derek Myers is investigating.
• There was a report of credit card fraud on Oct. 26 from a victim in the area of Sycamore Avenue who reported that fraudulent charges were made to a credit card totaling $1,913. Patrolman Ryan Cullinane is investigating.
