Police: Men Allegedly Tossed Furniture into Shrewsbury River
The accused 19-year-olds from Roselle Park allegedly dumped a Sea Bright resident's belongings.
Two out-of-town men are facing criminal mischief charges stemming from an incident in Sea Bright.
Kevin M. Graves, 19, of 148 Galloping Hill Rd., Roselle Park, and Santiago Clavijo-Zapata, 19, of 37 Westfield Ave., also Roselle Park, allegedly entered the yard of a private residence on Atlantic Way on Aug. 27 and threw two adirondack chairs, one small boat, a surfboard, picnic table and outdoor love seat into the Shrewsbury River, according to the complaint warrant.
Both were arrested by Sea Bright police and charged with criminal mischief. Bail was set at $2,500 each, it added.
Court dates for both were set for Sept. 5 at 8 a.m. in Sea Bright Municipal Court, Oceanport.
