Police Make Arrests on Assault, Obstruction, Criminal Mischief Charges

The following information was obtained directly from police records. It does not indicate convictions.


Police next door in Red Bank made the following arrests of area residents on various charges from Oct. 18 to 24:

• Jazmar Rainey, 23, of Eatontown, was arrested on Oct. 24 in the area of W. Westside Avenue and charged with obstructing the administration of the law by Patrolman Stan Balmer.

• Mujtabaa Muhammad, 34, of Long Branch, was arrested on Oct. 23 in the area of W. Bergen Place and charged with receiving stolen property by Investigator Robert Campanella.

• Jonathan Straccia, 23, of Farmingdale, was arrested on Oct. 21 in the area of E. Bergen Place and charged with simple assault and criminal mischief by Patrolman George Travostino.

• Guy Abrahamsen, 32, of Ocean, was arrested on Oct. 18 in the area of N. Bridge Avenue and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Patrick Kennedy.
