The following nearby thefts are being investigated by Red Bank police:
• A theft was reported on Oct. 4 on West Front Street. The victim reported that someone pried open the door to a shed and stole a boat motor. Detective Joey Fields is investigating.
• The theft of a wallet containing cash and credit cards from the console of a car parked on Bridge Avenue was was reported to have occurred on Oct. 5. Patrolman Jhonatan Quispe took the report.
• The theft of a bottle of prescription medicine from an Evergreen Terrace apartment was reported on Oct. 8. The alleged thief fled from the scene. Patrolman John Camarca took the report.
