An Atlantic Highlands man was arrested Thursday and charged on a slew of sexual assault charges stemming from the repeated and years-long assault of an underage girl who is blood relative, according to arrest warrants.

Wayne D. Woods, was charged with 15 counts of criminal sexual behavior — including six counts of coercive sexual assault — with a 17-year-old girl who is blood relative, according to arrest records.

Arrest warrants say that the girl endured Woods’ abuse for three years, beginning in August of 2010 and lasting until March 8, 2013.

Woods took photos of nude, sexually explicit and illegal sex acts of the girl between August, 2011 and June 11, 2011 and then used those photos to threaten to expose the girl to her friends and boyfriend, coercing her into performing sex acts on and with Woods on numerous occasions for the next several years, arrest records say.
