Our hopes and prayers for a speedy, full recovery are with the victim. Accidents such as this one occur all too frequently, especially when it's foggy, rainy, or during low light conditions. PLEASE don't go walking, jogging, biking, walking your dog, etc.in these kinds of conditions unless you're wearing a "Class 3" (highest safety rating) high-visibility safety vest. I use one of the bright yellow ones that I bought for less than $20 at http://www.envirosafetyproducts.com/occulux-class-3-mesh-vest-with-velcro-front.html, and have been very pleased with it. Make sure your kids wear them, too!

I hope that our tears have taken some of the pain away from the family. This tragedy has affected the entire community. Jillian was my kids favorite babysitter. It was like having Snow White as a babysitter. she will forever be missed.

My husband is Jillian's uncle and needless to say everyone is devistated by this tragic loss. I guess the only lesson to be learned from this horrible tragedy is to hold close the ones you love and let them know what they mean to you because tomorrow is not promised.
