Two drivers sustained minor neck injuries when their cars collided Thursday morning at the intersection of Shrewsbury Avenue and North Gilbert Street in Tinton Falls, just over the Red Bank border.
According to an officer at the scene, a driver heading south on Shrewsbury Avenue crashed into a driver attempting to make a left onto North Gilbert Street. Both drivers had a yellow light, he said.
The car making the left had severe damage to its right side and was pushed within inches of a car for sale in the lot of the World Subaru Dealership on Shrewsbury Avenue.

Members of Tinton Falls Emergency Services South and North responded to the scene and took both drivers to area hospitals.
