Gunshots Heard in Fair Haven; Police Arrest Two Young Men
Fair Haven Police arrested two Rumson men.
Two Rumson men were arrested on aggravated assault charges by Fair Haven Police on Saturday afternoon.
On Saturday around 3:34 p.m., Fair Haven Police were alerted to the sound of gunshots being fired near Tyson Dr. and Haddon Park.
When they arrived, they stopped two men who they said were trying to flee the scene.

They arrested Matthew Robertson, 21, Rumson, and charged him with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, assault with a firearm, terroristic threats, aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and discharging a firearm with bail set at $125,000 (with no 10% option) by Judge Richard Thompson.
Michael Robertson, 22, Rumson was also arrested and charged with aggravated assault with bail set at $10,000 (with a 10% option) by Judge Richard Thompson.

Fair Haven Police Officers Cpl. Waltz, S.O.’s Antonio Murray and Brooks Robinson responded. Red Bank and Little Silver Police Departments also assisted in the arrest. Detective Schneider is investigating.
