FH Police Beat: Fraud, Marijuana Possession

The following information was obtained directly from Fair Haven Police Department records. It does not indicate convictions.

Fair Haven police reported the following arrests and incidents for the first half of November:

• Cpl. John Waltz on Nov. 15 took a report of credit card fraud from a Harrison Avenue resident.

• Sgt. Jesse Dykstra on Nov. 15 arrested three juveniles, two from Fair Haven and one from Rumson. The juveniles were charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were released to the custody of their parents.

• Patrolman Dwayne Reevey on Nov. 17 arrested Benjamin P. Ware, 22, of Eatontown and charged him with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and a $700 contempt of court warrant out of Eatontown Municipal Court.  

Ware posted the bail and was released pending court.
