Fair Haven Police Investigating Jewlery Theft, Fraud, Criminal Mischief

Jewerly valued at $28,000 was reported stolen.


Fair Haven police are investigating the following incidents that occurred in July:

• Patrolmen Eric Patton and John Koetzner took a report of an alleged $28,000 jewelry theft from a Forrest Avenue resident.  Detective Stephen Schneider is investigating. 

• Patrolman Christian Hostrup took a theft report from a Little Silver landscaper who alleged that a leaf blower was stolen from one of his job sites on Dartmouth Avenue. 


• Patrolman Christian Hostrup took a report of alleged fraud from a Parker Avenue resident who alleged they were the victim of a scam. 

• Patrolman Dwayne Reevey took a report of criminal mischief allegedly committed on a vehicle at a Second Street residence. 

• Patrolman Dwayne Reevey took a report of criminal mischief allegedly committed on a vehicle owned by a Poplar Avenue resident.
