Fair Haven Police Investigating Incidents of Alleged Fraud

Fair Haven police are investigating three reported incidents of fraud in the borough.

A Spruce Drive resident reported on June 24 that his/her credit card number was used to fraudulently make $3,000 worth of purchases online. Patrolman Christian Hostrup took the report.
 
A few days earlier, on June 17 a Chestnut Street resident reported to Patrolman William Laggroteria that someone had fraudulently filed a tax return in their name.

And on June 9, a Heights Terrace resident reported to Special Officer Murray reported that they were allegedly defrauded of $2,400 in a check scheme. Detective Stephen Schneider is investigating this incident.

No arrests have yet been made.
