Fair Haven Police Blotter: Reports of Bike Thefts, Spray Paint Vandalism, Shoplifting

Arrest and incident reports from April and May. An arrest is not a conviction.

May 30: Wayne Bright, 67, Fair Haven, was arrested by Ptl . C. Hostrup and charged with shoplifting after an incident at the Cellar Liquor Store. Bright was found to have two active warrants for his arrest out of Sayreville and Tinton Falls. 

Ptl. J.  Koetzner took a theft report after a William Street resident reported a bike being stolen from in front of a Fair Haven business.  

May 21: A Fair Haven Road resident reported her son’s bike was stolen from the Knollwood Bike rack. Ptl. E. Patton took the report.

May 19: A Fair Haven juvenile was charged in connection with vandalism (spray paint) of 11 separate properties throughout town following and investigation by Sgt. J. Dykstra.

May 15: Dominic Roncase, 20, Rumson, was arrested by Ptl. D. Reevey on a charge of disorderly conduct for behavior exhibited on school grounds in front of staff and students.  Roncase was released pending a court date.

April 19: -David Stoia, 44, of Colts Neck, was arrested after a vehicle pursuit involving several surrounding agencies which ended after  Stoia crashed in Rumson Borough. He was charged with eluding and several motor vehicle complaints by Sgt. J. Dykstra. Stoia was transferred to the custody of Oceanport Police where the initial incident took place.

April 14: Police responded to Sunny Ridge Dr. for an attempted robbery after a delivery driver was confronted by man who demanded money. Det. Stephen Schneider is investigating. See original news report -->
