The Monmouth County DWI Task Force, in conjunction with Sea Bright police, will conduct a DWI checkpoint Friday night through early Saturday morning, authorities said.
The checkpoint will be set up from 11 p.m. tonight to 3 a.m. Sautrday on Ocean Avenue in the parking lot between the Sea Bright Public Beach lot and Chapel Hill Beach Club — the site of the old Peninsula House, according to a release from the task force.
Vehicles will be pulled into the site via northbound traffic lanes. If officers suspect that drivers are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, they will administer preliminary sobriety and Breathalyzer tests.
The legal limit of alcohol content in the blood is .08 percent.
