Criminal Sand-Bagging at Train Station

Incidents of criminal mischief occurred nearby between Oct. 17 and 20


Police next door in Red Bank reported the following incidents of criminal mischief between Oct. 17 and 20:


• It was reported that someone broke the door of a garage at a church on Broad Street on Oct. 18. Patrolman Ashon Lovick took the report.

• It was reported that sometime between Oct. 17 and 18, the open outer case of the Red Bank Library sign was pried open, causing damage. Patrolman George Travostino took the report.

• It was reported that someone committed an act of criminal mischief at the train station parking lot on Oct. 18 by placing two sandbags on the hood of a car and pouring sand over the vehicle, scratching it. Patrolman James DePonte took the report.

• A Locust Avenue resident reported on Oct. 20 that someone damaged the front door of their residence with paint ball splatters. Patrolman Gary Watson took the report.

• A Leighton Avenue resident reported on Oct. 19 that the wall of their backyard shed was damaged. Patrolman Jhonatan Quispe took the report.
