Crime Nearby: Fugitive From Justice, Car Keyed, Wallet Stolen, Mischief

Police reported the following incidents and arrest next door in Red Bank:


• Lee Marchetti, 22, of Eatontown, was arrested on April 16 in the area of Leighton Avenue on charges of being a fugitive from justice on out-of-state battery charges, possession of hypodermic syringe and other drug paraphernalia by Patrolman James DePonte and Patrolman Nicholas Maletto.

Criminal mischief and theft were reported on April 11, but occurred between April 2 and 3 on Shrewsbury Avenue. The victim reported that unknown person(s) cut locks to garages in the rear of a property and stole a table saw, chop saw, framing gun and two step ladders. Patrolman Ashon Lovick took the report.

A theft was reported on April 13 at a West Front Street restaurant. The victim reported that unknown person(s) stole a wristlet type small purse which contained a drivers license, bank debit card and cell phone. Lt. Joshua Berbrick took the report.

Criminal Mischief was reported on April 16 at a Maple Avenue parking lot. The victim reported that unknown person(s) keyed her parked vehicle in numerous places, incuding the hood, side, etc. Patrolman David Hicks took the report.

Criminal Mischief was reported on April 17 on Shrewsbury Avenue. The victim reported that unknown person(s) smashed out the rear window of a parked vehicle. Patrolman David Hicks took the report.
