reported the following incidents and arrests in the past week:

Incidents:

• A shoplifting was reported on March 29 at a Broad Street clothing store. An unknown female subject allegedly shoplifted several items of clothing from the store and left without paying them. Patrolman Michael Zadlock responded.

• A incident of criminal mischief was reported at a Monmouth Street business on April 1. The owner reported that unknown person(s) cracked glass in a window near the entrance to the door of the business. Patrolman Gary Watson responded.

Arrests:

• Edwin Diaz-Vasquez, 23, of Red Bank, was arrested on April 4 in the area of Oldfield Place and charged with hindering apprehension by Sgt. Robert Gannon.

• McCormick Williams, 41, of Red Bank, was arrested on April 3 in the area of Mechanic Street and charged with defiant trespassing by Patrolman Garrett Falco.

 • A male juvenile, 16, of Red Bank, was arrested on April 3 in the area of St. Mary’s Place and charged with obstructing administration of law by Patrolman Garrett Falco.

• Terrell Rainey, 19, of Neptune, was arrested on April 2 in the area of Bank Street and charged with possession of a CDS, heroin, possession of a CDS with intent to distribute, possession within 500 feet of a park or public housing, CDS on or near school property, resisting arrest and resisting arrest by force by Sgt. Robert Clayton.

• Rolando Chimello-Peregrina, 23, of Red Bank, was arrested on April 1 in the area of West Street and charged with simple assault and possession of drug paraphernalia by Patrolman Patrick Kennedy.

 • Heriberto Baretto, 23, of Red Bank, was arrested on March 31 in the area of Herbert Street and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman David Smith.

• Arturo Lewin, 25, of Red Bank, was arrested on March 30 in the area of Broad Street and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman David Smith.

• Artis Edwards, 50, of Red Bank, was arrested on March 29 in the area of Bridge Avenue and charged with hindering apprehension by Patrolman Stan Balmer.

• William Herchakowski, 52, of Shrewsbury, was arrested on March 28 in the area of Spring Street and charged with DWI by Patrolman Ashon Lovick.
