Dating back, the store has been burglarized several times before as well, Fair Haven Police Detective Stephen Schneider said.

"The armed robber, Rober Fiolka, was caught in September and is now incarcerated," the detective added. Fiolka had a criminal record and the FBI issued the warrant for his arrest.

Between that incident and the other burglaries, though, police "have not determined a connection at this point," Schneider said. "This most recent incident is still under investigation."

In this incident, Cpl. Jeff Jarvis, Patrolman William Lagrotteria and Special Officer Murray responded to the scene "on an alarm call," records said. Once there, it was determined that someone had made a forced entry through a window in the shop and had stolen several watches from a display, the report added.

Schneider had also responded to the scene and is investigating. He advised that anyone with any information about the burglary should call him at police headquarters at 732.747.0241.

In the meantime, "we're watching the shop very closely," Schneider said.
