Arresting Incidents from Fair Haven PD

The following information was obtained directly from Fair Haven Police Department records by Detective Sgt. Jesse Dykstra. It does not indicate convictions.

reported the following arrests and incidents in May:

May 1

• A Parker Avenue resident reported receiving several harassing phone calls from an unknown subject. Patrolman Hostrup took the report.

• A Highland Avenue resident reported receiving several harassing phone calls from a private number. Patrolman Hostrup took the report.

May 3

• A 15-year-old male juvenile from Fair Haven was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property by Patrolman Lagrotteria after he was found in possession of an allegedly stolen bicycle.

May 4

• John A. Massari, 39, of Sea Bright, was arrested Ptl. Schneider on the charge of a contempt of court warrant from Middletown. Massari posted $250 bail and was released.

• A Hance Road resident reported that her home was burglarized. Patrolmen Hostrup and Sgt. Robert Townshend took the report. is investigating.

May 6

• Gregory C. Last, of Yonkers, NY, was arrested by Patrolman Hostrup and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, a disorderly persons offense. Last was released pending a court date in the Fair Haven Municipal Court. assisted.

May 11

• Martin F. Schaaf, 42, of Keyport, was arrested by Cpl. Waltz and charged with criminal coercion and disorderly conduct. Schaaf was released pending a court date in the Fair Haven Municipal Court.

May 12

• A River Road business reported receiving a bad check for services provided. Special Officer  Murray took the report.
