Area Man Charged with Aggravated Assault

Man accused of repeatedly punching resident

Little Silver police arrested and charged a Highlands man with aggravated assault following a Dec. 9 incident. 

The man, who was arrested on Sunday, allegedly repeatedly punched a Little Silver resident with a "closed fist," according to court documents. His name was not released by police. Patrolman Frank Salerno made the arrest.

The accused was held on $2,500 bail with a 10 percent option and will make his first court appearance on Dec. 20.

Names must always be made known to the reader. Apparently, Little Silver and Allenhurst PD's are exempt. And, in response to Mr. 'Go-away' there are boxing gloves for a nicer touch!
