Bring Elaine back.

Notice how the only bits of information even remotely related to our community on this "news" website are written by Elaine Van Develde? If the owners / new owners of Patch think this is a change for the better, they need to re-think their plans of action.  People want community oriented current events and looks into the roots of our community while also relating them to current topics and issues.  This website will never find any one person capable of providing that other that it's previous editor.  All I see on this website now are for sale postings,  irrelevant topics, and ads for restaurants.  It's sad to see the path that such a great news outlet has taken.  Not just any person in the community can provide accurate and up to date information on important issues in the community.  The only type of person capable of that is someone who has lived here their whole life, has strong ties to the community, and a lifetime of reporting and photography experience.  That is what made this website worthwhile.  Now its just worthless.  Bring Elaine back.
