Obituary: Marylyn J. Scott, A Fair Haven Teacher For 26 Years

Marylyn J. Scott of Little Silver passed away on July 20, 2014.

Marylyn has been a resident of Little Silver since 1954. She was an elementary school teacher for the Borough of Fair Haven from 1964 until she retired in 1990.

Marylyn was predeceased by her husband, Walter B. Scott, Jr., and her son, Clifford J. Scott. She is survived by her sons, Richard R. and his wife Rene Scott of Little Silver and Thomas F. Scott of Rumson, and her six grandchildren: Jason and his wife Sarah; Rebecca, Stefani, Jordan, Michelle and Raye.

She will best be remembered as a mother, teacher, friend and neighbor.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad Street, Red Bank.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made in Marylyn's memory to a charity of your choice.

Burial will be private.
