Avid Innovator Dies at 72

William Wolf, of Rumson, 72, passed away on June 18. He was born in Long Branch and was a lifelong resident of Monmouth County.

Wolf graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in mechanical engineering.

He was described as an inventive person and went on to found Motion Systems Corporation, Eatontown, in 1972, a company specializing in innovative approaches to the design and manufacture of electro-mechanical devices.

Wolf was an avid automobile racing enthusiast and a musician. He loved books, learning, and intellectual conversation with everyone. Wolf was a mentor and friend through his generosity and integrity, which was underscored by his unwavering love for our country.

Wolf is survived by: his wife, Judy; his children, Katherine, Will, Lara, Danny, and Erik; his grandchildren, Madeline, Andrew, Matthew, Isabelle, Dannielle, and Gabrielle; his brother, James, and many nephews and nieces. He is also survived by his many friends.

Bill is predeceased by: his parents, William and Giovanna; his brother, Robert; and his granddaughter, Olivia.
