What I learned from the Broadway Show: Jersey Boys Part I

Life lessons learned from Jersey Boys.

I had the pleasure of seeing the Jersey Boys Broadway show yesterday and it was amazing to say the least. There are so many aspects of the show that can be incorporated  and applied to your own life.

The first lesson is that no matter how many times someone tells you that you can not achieve a specific goal, or are not good enough it doesn't matter, as long as you keep trying and never give up you will be able to accomplish whatever it is your trying to accomplish. Just think if the band were to have given up at every door slammed in their face they would not have sold over 100 million records and be inducted into the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame, yes I did say records for those not born before I Pod's or DVD's, just a little humor for us older folks. This is an important aspect of the show, you need to keep pushing up that hill until you reach the top, everyone is going to have a different opinion on what you can personally attain or are capable of, and embrace that say "thank you" but I know as long as I put in the blood, sweat, and tears and never give up I "will" achieve personal greatness and the goals I set out for myself.

Another important lesson is that family is always first, do not forget this on your quest to greatness or personal achievement or you will never truly achieve what you are really truly looking for. Life needs balance and whatever you are goals you are looking to achieve does require a lot of dedication and hard work, but if it comes at the expense of your family and their well being emotionally you will not achieve your true life goals. The purpose should always be balance both in terms of life goals and achievements but with the family security and emotional happiness the most important part of what you do and what your about.
