Book Sale at Monmouth County Historical Association

Mark your calendar! In conjunction with the Freehold Boro Town-wide Yard
Sale, Monmouth County Historical Association will be holding its Third Annual Used Book Sale on the front lawn of the Museum & Library, 70 Court Street, Freehold on Saturday, October 6 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. All books are donated and proceeds will go to the preservation of our research collection.   On Sunday, October 7 come to the Bag Sale from 9:00am – 3:00pm.  Cost will be $5 for a plastic bag provided by the Association, $6 for a paper grocery bag provided by the Association, $7 for a bring-your-own canvas bag or to purchase a stylish and reusable woven Monmouth County Historical Association logo bag.

There will be free admission to the museum on both Saturday and Sunday where visitors can enjoy a tour of the current exhibition, Marching Away: Monmouth County in the Civil War.    Please note that the Library will be closed on Saturday, October 6.

Donations of books including paperbacks, hard back novels, non-fiction, cookbooks, how-tos, books-on-tape, etc. will be accepted through October 4.  Please drop off your donations to the Museum & Library, Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. 

Monmouth County Historical Association is a private non-profit organization that has been working to preserve history and provide educational opportunities since its founding in 1898.  The Historical Association’s Museum and Library is located at 70 Court Street, Freehold, New Jersey.  Museum hours are: Tuesday - Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The Library is open Wednesday through Saturday.  For membership or admission fees and further information, please call (732) 462-1466 or visit our web site at www.monmouthhistory.org
