Pirouettes for Pets Raises Funds for Animal Charity

Kick Fitness and Dance invites families to enjoy a day of dance at its Pirouettes for Pets event to benefit All Fur Love Animal Rescue on Sunday, March 30, 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. at 62d Carton Street in Rumson, N.J.

Girls and boys, ages 3 to 14, will meet Kick's instructors who will guide them through the steps and songs from today's most popular pop artists, movies and Broadway musicals. The day's themes and schedule includes Ballerina Princess and Frozen at 11:00 a.m., Disney Channel Rocks at 11:30 a.m., American Girl Doll at 12:00 p.m., and Matilda the Musical at 12:30 p.m.

The event is free but donations will be collected for All Fur Love Rescue. Guests will also meet the charity's lovable adoptable dogs and cats. Visit www.allfurlove.org/donate/wish-list for a wish list of needed pet supplies and food. Donations of Petco, Petsmart, Walmart or Sam's Club gift cards are also appreciated.

"Many of my dancers have pets at home and All Fur Love Rescue felt like a "pawsitively" perfect match for us to support on our day of dance," said Vanessa Berry, Owner, Kick Fitness and Dance. "Our children are very compassionate and generous young souls. Every dollar and item donated at Pirouettes for Pets would mean the world to them. Our dancers know that it takes just one person to step up to make a difference in the world. We hope the community will also kick in on March 30 to help this worthy cause."

For 14 years, children at Kick have learned to dance in an atmosphere of challenge and fun with talented teachers, while meeting top Broadway performers, getting fit and growing friendships, and building strength and confidence.
