Jakes Surfboard

This week in "Jake's Surfboard" we will take a look at the Chemistry Zen model.  The Chem Zen is a full on barrel chasing board, perfect for the hollow winter conditions here in NJ.  

Every aspect of the board is geared towards chasing barrels.  The tail is pulled into a rounded pin.  The rails are a bit harder than your standard shortboard, and a solid amount of volume is pushed under the chest so it paddles well.  The board is a quad set up which produces even more drive.

It is important to have a board that you trust when the waves get good.  The Chem Zen will help you perform to your potential when the waves are good.  Having a board like this is a must for a New Jersey surfer.  This board is meant for an intermediate to advanced surfer.
