Just when Fair Havenites thought they might catch a break this year with a rain-free tree lighting and holiday stroll, it rained — it poured.
Yet, the spirit of the season prevailed as many descended upon Memorial Park to catch a bit of sunshine in the mood, catch a photo with Santa, don some cute little elf hats, sip hot chocolate and, yes, stroll a bit through businesses.
