Send us your game photos.

It's no secret. The news traveled fast. Everyone's been talking about it.

You may have heard and/or seen the two towns' fire companies and first aid squads, sirens blaring and lights blazing, head up a small escort parade home. The sign tells the winning story on the Fair Haven Firehouse marquee: Congratulations RFH Girls Soccer Group II Champs!

Yes, the girls on the Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School team won the NJSIAA Group II Championship on Saturday. The girls bested Bernards High School at The College of New Jersey with a score of 2-1, ending the season with a record of 16-7-1 and winning the second Group II title in the RFH soccer program's history. The first Group title win was in 2008.

"Everyone's contribution was essential in winning this championship," said Coach Mary Beth Coleman. "Each player's talent, hard work, unselfish contributions, and passion to succeed paid off for the entire team. Words cannot describe how proud I am of this year's team."

The RFH girls' varsity soccer players are: Schuyler DeBree, Allie Cuje, Janie DeVito, Anna Finn, Caitlin Griffith, Kaitlyn Hess, Meagan McGurl, Lindsay McKean, Olivia Rosenberg, Michaela Borneo, Lindsey Corydon, Allie Geiger, Emma Gill, Caroline Kostecky, Jacqueline Littleson, Morgan Mulligan, Samantha Beaudreault, Catie Clark, Grace Forsyth and Hanna LoSavio.

Donna Dini and Jeff Herkimer serve as assistant coaches for the RFH Girls Soccer team.
