Knollwood Girls Soccer Scores Big

Girls win the MCISSL


The girls on Knollwood School's soccer team are officially champs!

The team, comprised of girls in the middle school, has won the Monmouth County Interscholastic Soccer League (MCISSL) championship, finishing an undefeated season at 13-0-0.

The girls, coached by Sickles School second grade teacher Karen Florio, has won the distinction for the fourth consecutive year.

They entered the playoffs with a first-round bye for winning their division, according to a release, and passed by Eatontown and Forrestdale teams to come out on top and head to the finals, the release said.

In the finals, they beat Wall Township 1-0.
