The Junior League of Monmouth County's New Members Host

The Junior League of Monmouth County’s (JLMC) will be hosting a fundraising event, “Not Just Another Ladies Night” at Salt Creek Grille in Rumson on Wednesday, March 30th from 7:30-9:30pm in an effort to empower women in crisis.   The JLMC will use proceeds from the event to support a nutrition-based life skills workshop for the women served by Spring House and Manna House, two Monmouth County transitional homes serving homeless women and their children.  Tickets to the event are $60 each and can be purchased in advance at www.jlmc.org.

The JLMC’s New Member Class is coordinating “Not Just Another Ladies Night” and the life skills project as an integral part of the Junior League’s mission to train effective volunteers.  The New Member Class would like to invite members of the community to support its project by attending the March 30th fundraising event, which will feature dinner, dancing and cocktails. The Fred Astaire Dance Studio will provide dance demonstrations and guests will also enjoy cigar rolling and an after-dinner drinks station.  A unique silent auction will feature a variety of items to be donated to the women living at Spring and Manna House.
