"One People, Many Voices: Celebrating a World of Jewish Music."

The Jersey Shore Jewish Music Festival presents
the concert, "One People, Many Voices: Celebrating a World of Jewish
Music."  Three genres of Jewish world music will be celebrated -
Klezmer music from Eastern Europe, Ladino music from Spain and Turkey and Syrian
music from the Middle East.  We’ll be honoring
Moe Tawil for his lifetime contribution to Jewish Music.  So, whether you like matzo balls, hummus,
rice and beans… or even shrimp and cheeseburgers, Jersey Shore Jewish Music
welcomes all people from all backgrounds to partake in this fabulous feast of
world music!  The concert will be
held at the Pollak Theater at Monmouth University, 400 Cedar Avenue, West Long
Branch.  It is sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Monmouth County and
features Middle Eastern singer Yohai Cohen as well as the band Shir Mishugas
led by Jeffrey DiLucca.

Ticket price is $18.  Additional
information is available at http://jerseyshorejewishmusic.com.
