LENTEN SERVICE - MAUNDY THURSDAY

Embury UMC will be hosting Seder Meal reenacting Jesus’ Last Supper following in the footsteps of Jesus during these last days. This is a spiritual worship service with traditional Jewish Passover liturgy and meal/dinner culminating with Holy Communion. The length of the service and dinner is a little longer than 2 hours. Dinner is potluck as participants are asked to bring food to share. Any meat dish, side dish and deserts are welcome. Matzo will be provided. In keeping with the Jewish tradition (it will not be 100% Kosher even if we tried. However…), we ask that you keep in mind the following. No pork or pork meat products. Meat and dairy cannot be mixed in the same dish such as casseroles. No yeast in the bread or cake.
