Free Art Workshop Offered for Those Impacted by Brain Tumors
The David S. Zocchi Brain Tumor Center at Monmouth Medical Center will sponsor a
free Art Is Good workshop with artist Tim Kelly on Sunday, October 20 from 1 to
3 p.m. at SurfTaco in Belmar, located at 1003 Main Street.
Art Is Good workshops are beginner art classes offered to
families whose lives have been impacted by the diagnosis of a brain tumor and
are a forum for expression through creativity, friendship and just being. The
workshops allow these families to opportunity to socialize and meet with others
who are in the same situation.
Appointments with a social worker are available upon
