Fall Gardening with Master Gardener Bernard Dickman

Master Gardeners of Monmouth county is a volunteer group of dedicated gardeners.  They aim to expand the public's knowledge through horticultural, environmental and community service.
On Thursday, September 5th, Bernard Dickman will make a presentation at the Atlantic Highlands Library on Fall Gardening.  Since he retired in 1997 Mr. Dickman has been an active volunteer.  He is a lifetime Master Gardener and has held several offices in that county group.  In 2000 he was selected Master Gardener of the Year.  He has extensive rose, vegetable, perennial and bulb gardens of his own.  He makes presentations on roses, perennials, economy of physical resources and time in gardening and wildlife proofing a garden.  A knowledgeable gardener, Mr. Dickman is an enthusiastic speaker with a wry sense of humor.
The Atlantic Highlands Library, through the Rutgers Master Gerdeners Bureau, is happy to bring this free program to the public.  To register call the library at 732-291-1956.
