Dead Beat Poet Society Christmas Readings

It's holiday time and the Dead Beat Poet Society is going to celebrate the season by not reading poetry! Instead we are reading "A Child's Christmas in Wales" by Dylan Thomas and "And Two Eyes Made Out of Coal" by Augusten Burroughs. Many think this work by Thomas is a poem, but it's actually prose written for radio and broadcast in 1952. The Burroughs piece is short story from his collection of Christmas stories called "You Better Not Cry." We also encourage anyone who joins us to tell (in any form they choose, written or oral) a treasured holiday memory.

Plus, we are having a party! Feel free to come with food or drink to add to the merry! So bring your holiday cheer and Ho Ho Ho!
