Candlelight Community Concert "Music of Early American Composers"

You are invited to return with us to a more graceful time as Mr. Glenn May from the Monmouth County Historical Association re-creates the sounds and atmosphere of a 1700's evening concert by candlelight.

In 18th Century dress, Mr. May will play selections on the harpsicord and the Old First Church 700-pipe Fritszche organ. The program will include some historical notes about the lives of early Monmouth County residents.

The music concert is presented in cooperation with Monmouth Musica, a group dedicated to organizing and awakening interest in the music of Early American composers. A free will offering will be taken.
