Rumson Meetings

The Rumson Zoning Committee will meet on Tuesday, May 15 at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in . For more information click here.

Rumson Recreation Commission will meet in Rumson Borough Hall on Wednesday this week. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. This meeting is free to attend and is open to all.

On Thursday, May 17, the Rumson Historical Commission will meet. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held in Borough Hall.

Fair Haven Meetings

Teen Workshop

On Wednesday, May 16 teenage girls between the ages of 14 and 18 are invited to Val’s Tavern and Restaurant for a workshop. Ran by , these workshops will show how to build a community of strong, confident, eager, young women that live a purposeful life centered around positively, learning, ambition, and compassion. The workshop costs $35 (for reading material, pizza, and beverage) money must be mailed prior to the workshop and will hold your place. Additional information and mailing address can be found by . 

For Kids

is inviting everyone to attend the library’s Lego Club this Tuesday, May 15. Miss Anne will tell stories and building activities featuring everyone's favorite building brick. The County Library is supplying the LEGOs, all kids need to do is supply their imagination. This event is free to attend. No registration required, and you do not have to be a Rumson resident to attend.

will hold a Factory Night this Friday, May 18 at 6:30 p.m. This Friday’s movie will be Free Willy. At Small Factory Productions, children are invited to watch movies, eat theater snacks, play on the computers, and use instruments in the soundbooth. Family Nite Out

On Tuesday, May 15th, take a bite out of hunger by dining out in one of our participating restaurants in Rumson. A BITE (portion) of the evening's proceeds will be donated directly to Lunch Break.
