A round-up of useful information and events happening around Rumson and Fair Haven today.

Warm May Showers: According to the National Weather service, showers and a thunderstorm are likely before noon today. Temperatures will warm up today though with a high of 69 expected today. Tonight is supposed to be foggy until the early morning hours with temperatures dropping to a low around 51.

Varsity Teams Take the Field: The varsity boys golf and baseball teams are playing today along with the girls varsity golf team, softball team and lacrosse team. The complete schedule can be seen by clicking here

Be Kind to Animal Month: The Oceanic Free Library is calling May “Be Kind to Animal Month” by teamed up with the Monmouth County SPCA . Beginning today, a collection box will be set up for pet food donations and shelter supplies. Everything collected will be delivered to the Eatontown Shelter.

Storytime at the Library: The and the Fair Haven Library will hold a baby story time, a toddler story time and a pre-school story time this morning. Each story time will last for 30 minutes. The baby story time will begin at 10 a.m. followed by the toddler story time and finished with the pre-school story time at 11 a.m.

Support Group: There will be an AA meeting tonight at . The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. and is open and free to everyone.
