Sunny and 70's Marks First Week of Fall

Only slight chances of rain this week

With fall starting on Saturday the first week of the new season looks to be a beautiful one across the area.

Today looks to be the coolest of the week with the National Weather Service (NWS) calling for a high of 69 before dropping down to 44 by the end of tonight. The cold temperatures from Sunday night could also mean waking up to some early morning frost this morning.

The temperature looks to increase to around 73 by Tuesday according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

That will drop down to around 58 degrees Tuesday night and there is also a 30 percent chance of rain. The rain could continue through Wednesday and into Wednesday night with a high temperature of 78 and a low of 56 during that time.

By Thursday the sun should come back out with a high of 72 during the day and a low of 51 at night.

Friday during the day the NWS is calling for a high of 72 and according to the early forecasts there is a 30 percent chance of rain for Friday night football under the lights with a low of around 55.

The Saturday football games have a chance of being a little wet with a 30 percent chance of rain remaining but a high still around 73 degrees.
