Power Outages Continue, Residents Urged to Stay Home

With many power lines down, the Fair Haven Office of Emergency Management is asking residents and children to stay in their homes.

This is a message from the Fair Haven Office of Emergency Management.

All residents are encouraged to stay indoors and not drive on the roads until the storm has completely ended and downed wires have been removed. Absolutely no children should be allowed outdoors due to the possibility of live downed wires. We have been in contact with JCP&L throughout the night and they are aware of all the outages and will be responding as soon as possible. We will have more information as to how long it will take to restore power once the crews arrive in town. JCP&L gave a response time of 24 hours. The OEM call center for non emergency calls remains open at 732-747-0241 extension 302.
