Ohhhh ... Here Comes Santa Crawl!

A bus full of 25 Santas was making its way all over Monmouth and Ocean counties over the weekend.

It was a jolly sight to behold. There they were — 25 Santas, with about as much variety as there are flavors of Baskin Robbins ice cream, all dressed up with plenty of places to go.

The group, known as Santa Crawl, originated in Jackson, one of the incognito Santas told Patch. It's a bunch of friends who got together to spread some cheer and have some fun, he said.

Since a couple of weeks ago, the Santas have bussed it to various charity events and impromptu fun stops from New York City to Ocean County. They have a big ol' Santamobile that looks nothing like a sleigh with reindeer, but it's mighty festive — all lit up with none other than a Santa atop.

Over the weekend the group, with every Santa from a traditional Saint Nick to, well, a Frosty the Snowman, wound up in Monmouth County to spread a little spirit and embibe in some spirits. Can you guess where they were spotted?

In the meantime, take a look at the gallery of good Santas above.
