FH Police Report: Theft by Deception
The following information was obtained directly from Fair Haven Police Department records. It does not indicate convictions.
Fair Haven police reported the following incidents for March:
• Patrolman Dwayne Reevey took a report of theft by deception from a River Road resident.
The resident allegedly gave a contractor a deposit for work and materials. The contractor allegedly never did any work and would not return the victim's call.

Reevey was able to make contact with the contractor. The victim's full deposit was returned. Sgt. Jesse Dykstra and Detective Stephen Schneider assisted.
• Detective Stephen Schneider took a report for alleged check fraud reported by a Grange Walk resident on March 1.

• Detective Schneider took a report for possible identity theft from a Laurel Drive resident on March 27.
• Cpl. John Waltz took a report of harassment from a McCarter Avenue resident.
• Special Officer Murray took a theft report from an Oak Place resident on March 29. Detective Stephen Schneider is investigating.
• Sgt. Jesse Dykstra took a report of an identity theft from a Church St. resident on March 30.
