Fair Haven Dentist on Children's Dental Health Month

A message from Fair Haven's Ferguson Dental Care:

Each February, the American Dental Association (ADA) sponsors National Children's Dental Health Month to raise awareness about the importance of oral health care for children.

During February, the dentists and hygienists at Ferguson Dental Care have been spending extra time talking to parents and children about oral health care techniques and the importance of using sports mouth guards to protect teeth while playing sports.

“Children’s teeth are meant to last a lifetime, and a healthy smile is important to a child’s self-esteem," Dr. Paul Ferguson said. "At Ferguson Dental Care, our goal is to teach our young patients that with proper care, a balanced diet, and regular dental visits, it is easy to keep their teeth healthy and strong.”

The team will also be holding a raffle for a Sonicare® For Kids electronic toothbrush. The public is invited to visit Ferguson Dental Care at 811 River Road to enter the raffle and receive a free children’s dental health care kit.
