Rumson and Fair Haven residents have local options if they need to come in from the cold.
Both municipalities have set up comfort stations where residents can recharge their phones and laptops and, perhaps, relax just a bit while waiting for power to be restored.
Bingham Hall in Rumson, 40 Bingham Ave., is open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily. Various services are available, including clothes, toiletries, transportation service and limited food.
A Fair Haven comfort station has been set up at the Youth Center behind the police station. There is heat, and outlets are available to charge devices.
Additionally, the Rumson post office will resume deliveries. It's open, without power, and can accept stamped mail only.
Sea Bright and Highlands residents may pick up their mail in Rumson but must show identification.
