Burke Wins Ostrich Egg at Annual St. Patrick's Day Chef Cook Off

Fromagerie owner Chef David Burke took on former owner Hubert Peter in cook off while wearing kilt and lederhosen.

Dressed in a kilt, Chef David Burke took on Chef Hubert Peter, who was dressed in lederhosen, in the 3rd Annual St. Patrick's Day Chef Cook Off at the Fromagerie in Rumson.

Over 150 people attended and acted as judges in this top chef throw down. When they arrived, they were greeted by a bag piper and cocktail hour. They then sat down for a four course meal and dessert.

Each chef prepared two dishes for judging. Patrons rated each dish for originality, presentation and taste.
