A Possibility of More April Showers

A round-up of useful information and events happening around Rumson and Fair Haven today.

Cloudy with a Chance of Rain: If April showers bring May flowers, we should have a very vibrant May! According to the National Weather Service, today is expected to be mostly cloudy with a chance of afternoon showers. Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 60. Overnight, it will continue to be mostly cloudy with another chance of showers. There will be a drop in temperatures tonight with a low of 41 expected.  

Varsity Teams Take the Field/Course/Track: The has four varsity teams in action today. The baseball team will travel to Jackson to face off against Jackson Memorial High School. The boys golf team is also on the road today. The girls golf team is also in action today. The girls will take on Red Bank Catholic High School on their home course today. The team will travel to the Hominy Hill Golf Course in Colts Neck to play in the Monmouth County Tournament. The boys and girls track will be competing in a Tri Meet today at home. All three teams will begin playing at 3:45 p.m.

High School BOE to Meet: The RFHRHS Board of Education will meet tonight. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be held in the school’s library. Tonight’s agenda can be viewed by clicking here

Storytime at the Oceanic Free Library: Tuesdays are children’s storytime at the . Baby storytime for children 10 months to 2 years will be held from 10 a.m. to 10:20 a.m.; toddler storytime for kids 2 to 3 years will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 10:50 a.m.; and preschool storytime for kids 3 to 5 years will by held from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Historic Commission Meeting: The Fair Haven Historic Commission will meet tonight at . The meeting will begin at 7 p.m.
