5 Things You Need to Know Today: Nov. 8

Here is a list of 5 things you need to know today:

1. Tuesday: Grab your sunglasses and ditch the winter coat as you head out the door to vote today. According to the National Weather Service, today will be sunny with a high near 66 degrees and a north wind between 3 and 5 mph. Tonight will be mostly clear with a low around 52 degrees and a south wind between 3 and 6 mph.

3. Mandatory Vote? By some official projections, as few as 30 percent of registered voters may turn out for Tuesday's elections throughout New Jersey, when candidates for the state legislature, county freeholder as well as mayor and council in many localities will all be on the ballot. 4. Flu Shots: Stop by the  after voting for a flu shot. Flu shots will be given by Rumson Pharmacy and Certified Immunizer, Mr. Amit Patel for $28 per flu shot.
