Here is a list of 5 things you need to know today:

1. Cloudy Halloween: According to the National Weather Service, today will be cloudy with a high around 55 degrees. Tonight, clouds will continue to cover the sky with a low around 44 degrees and a slight chance of rain after 2am. There will be an east wind between 6 and 8 mph.

2. Spooky and Safe: Halloween is an exciting time of year for kids, but can lead to some stress for the safety of your kids as they wander around in the cold and dark asking strangers for candy. 3. Costume Contest: Which kid in America has the most creative Halloween costume in the pumpkin patch? That's what we intend to find out with your photos and the help of celebrity judge Heidi Klum, who will select the Grand Prize winner. The Grand Prize? Patch will whisk the winner to New York or Los Angeles for a three day, two night trip for two that includes a meet and greet with Heidi, plus a donation of $1031 to a local charity of the winner's choice. 5. Creepy Curfews: Both Rumson and Fair Haven will have a curfew in place for tonight. In Fair Haven, anyone 18 and under is banned from being out without parental escort after 8 pm on Halloween.
