1. Cloudy with a Chance: According to the National Weather Service, today will be mostly cloudy with a high near 64 degrees with a west wind around 10 mph. There is a chance of light rain this afternoon into the evening. Tonight will be cloudy with a low around 53 degrees and a west wind between 5 and 9 mph.

2. Beyond a Few Books: More than 300 people turned out to celebrate reading at the Rumson PTO’s annual book fair last week. Waterways and More: Andy Willner, former NY/NJ Baykeeper for 19 years, will give a presentation entitled Fish and Ships, on Wednesday at a meeting of the Navesink Maritime Heritage Association (NMHA). Willner will share his personal photos from his time traveling the New York and New Jersey waterways as baykeeper. The presentation will be at 8 pm at the Monmouth Beach Cultural Association in Long Branch. The public is invited and refreshments will be served at 7:30 pm. Click for more details.
