A round-up of useful information and events happening around Rumson and Fair Haven today.

Here is a list of 5 things you need to know today:

1. Sun and Wind: According to the National Weather Service, today will be mostly sunny with a high near 56 degrees. Where a sweater becayse it will be breezy with a north wind around 21 mph. Tongiht the wind will continue with a north wind between 17 and 20 mph. Skies will be clear with a low around 40 degrees.

2. Holiday Shopping: Local Parent Teacher groups are helping the community with their holiday shopping. Stop by the Fair Haven PTA Gift Show on Saturday, November 5th starting at 10:00 at the . Click for details. Take a bulldog bite out of your holiday shopping list at the Rumson PTO Bulldog Boutique on Sunday, November 6th from 12pm to 4pm at the Forrestdale gymnasium. Click for details.

3. Clean-up: Join , in partnership with the Red Bank Environmental Commission and the Bayshore Regional Watershed Council, in a cleanup of the Navesink River. Volunteers will meet on Sunday, November 6 at noon at 222 River St. in Red Bank. Clean-up ends at 2 p.m. Come prepared to get dirty. Trash bags and gloves will be provided. Click for more details.

4. Game to Watch: According to , today's match-up between the Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School soccer team vs. Shore Regional is one not to miss. The two teams met previously this season on October 13. The Blue Devils of Shore claimed a 2-1 victory in the midseason clash, and only time will tell if the Bulldogs can avenge the loss.
